AR (Assistant Robot): This 1.6-meter-tall and 130kg robot was developed under a joint venture between Prof. Masayuki Inaba’s team and Toyota. It is capable of recognizing the environment with the help of its laser rangefinder and stereo camera that assists in fusing the data together. Also, it is capable of calculating that whether the job performed by it is successful or not. It is provided by 3D geometric model that helps in creation of motion in AR. It is capable of picking up things and cleaning the floor.
